Muji, in collaboration with the German furniture company Thonet, has reinterpreted two historical lines of furniture. The first is inspired by the curved wooden chair "No.14", now called "214" made by Thonet in 1859. The second is inspired by the tubular metal furniture created in the twenties by members of Bauhaus, the German historical school of design.
